Let’s take it back to the summer of 2020 in Richmond, where our city, like the rest, ahem, some of the country, was grappling with racial injustices and the tragic killings of Black Americans. It was an unsettling period characterized by protests, police presence, and looting. In response, we felt compelled to take action and created Cohesion along with our good friends @vasenbrewing to shed light on these injustices,showcase the resilience of our city, and raising funds for our homies @chilalay, who endured damage during this time.

Fast forward to 2023, and we’re proud to announce Cohesion Vol. 2. The players may have changed, and we ourselves have grown, but rest assured, we’re building and brewing something we hope you can enjoy and relate to. We were blessed once again by the genius art of @marly_mcfly87, and we can’t wait to reveal this year’s artwork.

We’re taking over Väsen’s Barrel Room to keep the Cohesion energy strong with some of Richmond’s illest MCs, featuring performances by @odashz, @itsjustvintage & @illastyles, plus a few surprises that you don’t want to miss.

Also, our girl @_xxtaste.buds is back slingin’ some incredible Birria Tacos, and @jaybordeaux is our DJ for the night, all hosted by the one and only @mrchancefischer.

Every draft sale of Cohesion Vol. 2 on Friday night is all about giving back. We’re supporting the @plugmobilefarmstand, who is doing some amazing work to crush food insecurities in underserved communities.
